GIDI GOV HOLECH LE'ECHOL
"GIDI GOV GOING TO EAT"

ABOUT GIDI GOV HOLECH LE'ECHOL "GIDI GOV GOING TO EAT"

Gidi Gov, singer, actor, entertainer and popular television host, is "Going to Eat" in a series of encounters which take place all over the country. Along the way, he experiences the foods, smells and tastes that are typical of the many ethnic groups gathered in Israel. Gidi loves to eat almost anything. As he goes behind the scenes, we find him lifting pot covers and sticking his fingers into the pots to taste the food. Gidi is not only interested in eating but in everything about the food he is discovering. He is interested in the recipes, in learning to bake and in listening to ethnic stories while eating with the story tellers. Always Gidi, he sings, dances and laughs with everyone he meets. Gidi travels - joyfully and with a child's curiosity - in any direction that holds out a promise of culinary pleasure. He drives his green pickup truck and, when alone, he thinks aloud and includes the viewer in his musings, songs and mirth.
