Laga'at Ba'Osher, "Touching Happiness", is the first home-grown Israeli Telenovela. All of Israel became hooked by the characters and storyline of the series and the program has become the talk of the country. A wealthy couple's marriage is on the rocks because they are unable to have a child, so they turn to a surrogate mother. A love triangle and bitter rivalry is the result and every episode teems with intrigue and infidelity. Laga'at Ba'Osher has turned its' cast of former unknowns into stars and a whole country into "Touching Happiness" addicts.

ABOUT EPISODE #1 ON DRISHAT SHALOM VOLUME 1:

Malka, Ophra's mother, is taken to the hospital in critical condition and admitted to the intensive care unit while Irit is preparing to go to the airport and pick up her husband, Nadav. Irit is trying to convince Nadav to adopt a child since she is not able to have any children. After Malka's condition deteriorates, a doctor tells Ophra that the only way for Malka to live is to undergo surgery abroad, which would cost about half a million Shekels.
